It was a long wait – since Rescue Me ended on September 12th 2007, with Tommy’s father dying at a baseball game, the writer’s strike pushed back the release schedule for Season 5. In the meantime, a series of minisodes were released to keep people happy until Season 5, scheduled for spring 2009.
The first episode aired on the 7th, and it features Michael J. Fox as Janet’s new boyfriend, and Tommy not looking forward to his section eight hearing. Check out the official site for more details, including pics, videos and even a huge poster you can download and print out.

Today is a sad day for firefighters – six years ago, 343 brave men gave their lives to save thousands of others in the terrorist attack on the World Trace Center in Manhattan, New York. Never forget. Enough said.
